Baby It's Cold Outside

Hey all,

Today I wanted to share a card that I made for the Farm Fresh challenge over at http://www.thegreetingfarm.com/ This is the first time Ive participated in this challenge..it was alot of fun..and Lord knows Ive got tons of TGF stamps to choose from lol.=) So the prompt this time was Embossing-I used my cuttlebug snowflakes folder for the entire background of the card and then used my Beanie Anya stamp, I thought she was fitting for how the weather has been lately..she looks so cozy and warm! I colored her up with my prisma pencils as usual and a sentiment from American Crafts. Thanks for checkin in and keep warm!=)

Paper Smooches Sparks

Hidy Ho Neighbors!

Im back today with a card that I made for the PS Sparks Challenge..I always have a lot of fun with the inspiration for these challenges and this time was no different..as soon as I saw it I knew I had to use my new Hero Arts tree trunks stamp..Im totally in love with this stamp at the moment!! So I stamped the front-facing scooter from the PS "spiffy Scooters" set, masked it off and then stamped my trees a couple of times with Walnut Stain distress ink..then I stamped the scooter again on a seperate piece of cardstock and colored it up with my prisma colored pencils then popped it up. Once again I went pretty literal and didnt stray too far from the inspiration photo..but its so cute I think it works=) I rounded the top corners of the image and card with my 1/4 inch corner chomper, added some brown twine for texture and slapped it on a white card base to keep things crisp and clean looking..its very retro, I love it! The color of orange and the woodgrain go perfectly together. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to go check out http://www.papersmoochesstamps.com/ and join the fun! Have a great day!

Mojo..

I think I may be slowly getting my mojo back (YAY!!!) Ive been so bummed out thinking that it may not return in time for the Halloween Card series that I was planning, but now I believe the show will go on=) Ive already filmed the first vid in the series but will probably wait until I get the last of my Halloween supplies that I ordered before uploading anything. This past week my hubby was off and we celebrated his "birth week" lol so I didnt really get a whole lot of crafting done, but I needed a few thank you cards so here is what I came up with.

This first card I used some scraps of paper that I had lyin around. The blue dot paper is from Bo Bunny Whooligans (last years halloween line) and the rest I cant remember where they are from sorry! The little striped flags are a Studio calico stamp and the main witch image is from CC Designs..I colored her up with my prismacolor pencils as usual and the sentiment is from the Amy R Ghostly Greetings set.

And for this second card I used my new Paper Smooches "My Peeps" stamp set that came in yesterday..I just love these little birdies!! I used the MME Life of the Party papers..it was a pretty simple card to make and Im pretty happy with how it came out.

Anywho, as soon as the rest of my packages come in I will have a haul video for you all and then the halloween card series should follow soon!=) I hope you all have a great week!

On the Mend

Just another quick card share for you all today. I made this card a few days ago but am just getting around to posting it. I used my new Lawn Fawn " On the Mend" stamp set..my favorite image is this little bandaid..and you all know how much I love rainbows..I thought they went well together since rainbows are cheerful and whatnot=) I used several patterns from different 6x6 paper pads in my stash. The little pink ribbon wasnt exactly what I had in mind at first (I was going to use twine) but I had a small run in with a black ink pad so I had to use something a little thicker to cover it up..I guess you could call it a happy accident..cuz I think it came out pretty cute and I never would have thought to use ribbon since Im so obsessed with twine lately. The sentiment is also from this stamp set and I stamped the "get well soon" sentiment on the inside of the card. Thanks for stoppin by and I hope you all have a great week!=)

Paper Smooches Sparks

Happy World Card Making Day!! Today I wont be able to make too many cards unfortunately but I did get a chance to make this little card for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I just loved the inspiration this time..it really spoke to me, I tried to stay away from the obvious "baby" theme but I just couldn't resist..the colors were just too perfect for it=) I used the PS A Little Loving stamp set for the little ellies and sentiment. The polaroid is from the Lawn Fawn say Cheese stamp set. I ruffled up some ribbon at the bottom and sewed across it with my sewing machine. I added some green baker's twine and an itty bitty clothespin to "hold" the photo. I hope you enjoyed seeing my project and go check out http://www.papersmoochesstamps.com/ for more info on the sparks challenge as well as all of their awesome stamps!=)
