Hello all,
I am finally back with card 2 in my Holiday Card Series. This last week was super crazy and kinda just slipped away from me,it may or may not have had to do with the beautiful snow we got, I'd almost forgotten what it is like to get a good amount of snow (5 inches or so) and wake up to the most beautiful view ever..I love Utah! This was the view out my scraproom window on Saturday. But Im back now and hope to keep up with this series much better now..aside from Thanksgiving comin up..3 cheers for an excuse to eat way more than I should =)
This card is another super simple one..Ive been making more and more easy cards lately and I cant decide if its a style change or just laziness lol. I think it is safe to say that the vision out my window greatly inspired this card. You can check out the video tutorial for this card HERE
I hope you all have a great week! Thanks for stopping by

Holiday Card Series 2012 (Card #1)
Hello all,
Im back today to kick off my Holiday Card Series and I couldn't be more excited! Christmas cards are one of my favorite types to make..and today's card was tons of fun! In this series I wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary, while most of my cards include coloring a stamped image I really enjoy making more simple cards too (especially around the holidays) and wanted to incorporate those into the series also,so stay tuned for more word art, washi tape, embossing techniques and a few colored cards too! =)
This card was way different than my usual, not just because there was no coloring but I also didnt use any patterned paper (gasp!) But I have to say I really enjoy getting out of my comfort zone every now and then..and Im very happy with the result! You can find a list of supplies used and also see how this card came together HERE. Thanks for stopping by!

Beauregaurd's Pencil
Hey guys,
Im going off the Halloween card subject for a bit to share a card I made for my parents, I wanted to send a few pics to them of my son's first day of Preschool, so I thought Id make a card while I was at it. I used the stamp "Beauregard's Pencil" from CC Designs, I just love this little guy,and it definitely makes me think of my little guy going to school. The sentiment is a stamp from the August Studio Calico Scrapbooking Kit and I used my PTI notebook die also.I used the Lawn Fawn Dewey Decimal 6x6 pad,I just got this and thought it was perfect for this image and that little book print is just too cute! Anywho, That's all I have for ya today..I hope to be back soon with a masculine b-day card! =) Thanks for stoppin by!

Ghostly Greetings!
Hi all,
Im back with card #3 in my 2012 Halloween Card Series. I just got the Sweet November "Boo's Fun" set the other day and couldn't wait to ink up these little ghosties. This little guy definately found the perfect pumpkin, but not sure if it was worth it..he looks a little spooked to be out so late in the woods, and with all those bats lurking in the trees, I don't blame him! You can watch me put this card together HERE. Thanks for stopping by,I will talk to ya soon! =)

A little Favor...
Hey guys,
Today I am going a little off the subject of card-making/crafting to ask a favor. Some of you may know that as a stay at home mom I make extra money by selling Scentsy. I have been a Scentsy consultant for 3+ years now and these last few months have been really hectic with relocating and selling our house and well not knowing anyone here..my Scentsy got put on the back burner and I didn't even realize that I was coming up on 3 months without selling anything..so this means my days as a Scentsy consultant will come to an end unless I make $150 in orders by the end of the month and umm..it's the 17th!!
I realize that with kids starting school and the holidays coming up it is a tough time to buy extras, but every little bit helps..and you get the benefit of delicious smelling products from Scentsy to make your house smell warm and inviting,we also have pur Hand Soaps/sanitizers (they make excellent teacher gifts) and our Scentsy Layers products are great gifts to have on hand for those times you need a quick gift or want to pamper yourself, we even have Scentsy Buddies for the kids' stocking stuffers! All Im asking is that you stop by my website and take a look around, if you feel compelled to buy something then awesome, and if not that's ok too..I really don't want to lose this position, and would appreciate any help I can get, Im completely desperate at this point.
So here is the link to my website..go check it out whether you already know and love Scentsy or this is the first you've heard of it..they really are amazing produts and make a huge difference in making your house a home and always smelling yummy for those unexpeccted guests..I will warn you hubby/son may think you are baking cookies and be a bit disappointed to find out it's just Scentsy but hey..what ccan ya do haha. Also..a quick tip.."Dominica" is THE perfect smell for Halloween if you happen to be having a party..and "Festival of Trees" is my hubby's favorite for Christmas/Winter. =) Thanks in advance and I'll be back soon with another Halloween card. Have a wonderful day!! =) CLICK HERE!

Halloween Card Series #1
Hi all,
Ive really been in the Halloween spirit lately -get it, "spirit" haha- anywho Ive been getting things ready for my annual Halloween Party and all that creativity has just spilled out into my card making so I thought it would be the perfect time to start my 2012 Halloween Card Series. I gotta tell ya I still feel pretty lame about that measly 4 card series last year lol..if you could even consider that a series. So let's just forget about that and get on with this year's cards shall we =)

For my first card I picked this absolutely adorable image called "Devilish Lucy" by CC Designs..she is certainly the cutest little devil Ive ever seen. I also used some of the new dies from CC Designs, the pumpkins (not mushrooms DH!) and the bats are both from them. The papers are a MME release from last year called Mischievous. You can watch how I put this little card together HERE
I hope you enjoyed and hopefully I can get a few more cards made this next week!
Toodles. =)

Beach Babe
Hey guys,
Long time no post, I know..things have been super busy with moving and all I just havent made time to post anything here. But to make up for it, today's post is packed full of goodness!
To start I have this super cute card to share with you. I am entering this card in the Tiddly Inks "Summer" challenge so I used the new Tiddly Inks Wryn clear stamp. Tiddlyinks has long been my favorite place for digis but recently started making clear stamps and I couldn't love them more.=) I also used the brand new MME The Sweetest Thing Tangerine line, these colors just scream the end of summer to me. I created the cloud background with a cloud diecut and distress ink as usual, the wave die is from Taylored Expressions and the sentiment is from Amy R's beach sentiments set.
Ok, now for the best part. After a million requests over the last few years I finally took the time to start a Prismacolor series to show you all my tricks and techniques of coloring images. With so many others using Copic markers these days there really aren't many tutorials using other mediums. I have uploaded 6 videos in the series so far and they actually feature the cutie I used in the card above! =) I do plan to add more tutorials to the series as time permits, but for now you can find them HERE. I hope they are helpful and enjoyable.
That's all I have for ya today, thanks for stopping by! Tata for now =)

Gorjuss Time
Hey guys,
Im a little late getting this post up today..I ended up falling asleep on the couch last night and forgot all about posting it lol.
So..I needed a card for my hubby's Grandma for her 82nd Birthday this month..I thought this Gorjuss The White Rabbit stamp fit nicely with her cute little pocket watch. The numbers and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink. I also used my cuttlebug watch gears embossing folder for the background and some stormy sky distress ink to help it stand out a bit more.
Well, that's all Ive got for ya today..Im hoping to get some crafting done today so I may have more to share a bit later=) See ya!

The Last Rose
Good Morning Guys! I've been on a real card-making kick since making all those fun cards for SN this last week. I got some of the new Gorjuss stamps yesterday and couldn't wait to start creating with them, so I inked up this one called "The Last Rose" first. I colored it very similar to the picture on the package cuz I love it so much, I masked her off and used my Pumice Stone/Stormy Sky distress inks for the background. I used some older MME papers from my stash but I cant remember the name of the collection sorry =(. I also used the CC Designs Fairwee Tiny Scallop and MFT Rolled Flower Dies and a little stickles here and there. Thats all Ive got for ya today..another Gorjuss card coming tomorrow =) Catch ya later!

Sweet November Stamps- Preview Day 5
Hey Guys,
Today is my last day as a Guest Gal for Sweet November Stamps..it's definitely a bitter sweet feeling. I am so honored to have been a part of SN for the last few days..and wanna say a HUGE Thank You to Amy for having me!
On a happier note..today is the day I get to show you some of the images Amy created with some suggestions from me..awhile back I had not- so - subtly mentioned in a video that she should make some 4th of July images..since there doesn't seem to be very many out on the market. When I said it I had no idea she would actually do it...so needless to say when I seen them I was pretty stoked! I plan to use these girls in a 4th of July printers tray for my home but I haven't gotten around to that just yet. I did make some cards for your viewing pleasure though =)
Meet Patriotic Pixies, Patti and Betsy. For the first card I used the October Afternoon Rocket Age papers and my Martha Stewart loopy punch..a little bit of twine and lots of glitter for the sparklers. The sentiment was created using the Lawn Fawn Sally's ABCs.
The Second One is much more simple..I used my Papertrey Ink block Alphabet Dies to cut out the "HELLO" and back it with more of that OA star paper. I tried to make it look like she was whizzing by on her super fast firework by adding some blue coloring/sparkle behind her..I think it worked pretty well. Ok guys Don't forget to go check out what Nancy, Marion and Amy created with these girls and go get your hands on these images at All That Scraps! Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet November Stamps-Preview Day 4
Good Morning all..Today Ive got the last (but certainly not least) Tadpole from Sweet November Stamps to share with you..This is Tadpole Sunny..Im totally loving her shades! For this card I decided to pair her with her friend Tadpole Phoebe that I showed you on Preview Day 1. This design is a bit different than my usual..but Im really loving how it turned out! I used my Spellbinders Wonky Squares die and die cut several papers from the Echo park Splash line and some plain white sheets for spacing and just fanned them out and placed my image on top. The sentiment is from Amy R's Beach Sentiments and I used a few mini seashells and my Viva Decor pearl pen in Cream for embellishment. I don't know about you..but this card definitely has me itching for a day at the beach! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget..Nancy, Marion and Amy have more of Sunny to share with you! I hope to see you back here tomorrow for another sneak of some Sweet November girlies!

Sweet November- Preview Day 2
Hello all Im back again today with yet another adorable Tadpole from Sweet November Stamps. Meet Tadpole Polly. This little cutie was just begging to be put on a surf board...since I don't have any surf board stamps I decided to draw my own..Im not totally happy with it but its ok I guess. I used the Basic Grey What's Up 6x6 pad again (Im totally addicted to these colors right now!) and I created the waves with a scallop punch and layered it up a few times, curled the edges a bit and viola =) I let the paper do a lot of the work for me here with the sky/hot air balloons. The sentiment is from Amy R's Beach Sentiments once again..they just seem made for these cute little Tadpoles ;) Ok..that's all Ive got for ya today..stop by Nancy,Marion and Amy's blogs for more sneaks of Polly and a chance to win her on Amy's blog! with a cherry on top
Good morning all!
Ive got another card to share with ya today..this time it's a Birthday card for my sister's friend. My sister chose the image (Tiddly Inks) and I just went from there. The cupcake paper is from the Authentique Celebrate paper pad and the rest is from Basic Grey's Konnichiwa. I cut out a few felt flowers with a PTI die and added some dewdrops for the centers. The sentiment is from my new PTI Big Birthday Wishes stamp set (LOVE!) These adorable Wryn images make any card awesome..so you dont have to do much to them..which is nice=)
Well I better get off the computer..the laundry is calling my name. =/ I Hope you all have a wonderful day! TTYL

Embrace Happiness
Hi all!
I know it's been forever since I've posted anything..I promise I haven't forgotten about you.and I wanna give a warm welcome to all my new followers! =)
So..part of the reason I haven't posted is because I have been on a bit of a card-making hiatus..and I find it really difficult to photgraph my project life pages. But today..my card mojo came back with a vengence lol. I'm in a very springy mood so I used a very light color scheme for this card..papers are from the MME Dolled Up collection. I also pulled out this Stamping Bella image that I haven't inked up in quite a while (it is one of my faves) and a brand new flower punch I got..those tiny things just make me smile=) The sentiment is from the Amy R spring sentiments set..and of course I did add a little stickles here and there but it doesnt show up in the photo. I created the cloud background with Broken China Distress ink and my Fiskars cloud punch. I'm trying a new way of taking my photos so please excuse the huge shadow to the left =(..I desperately need to figure out the best way to take pics of my cards, so if any of you have tips, they would be much appreciated..maybe a new camera will help? ;)
Well, Ive got a busy day of shopping ahead of me so I better scoot..talk to you soon!

Simply Gorjuss
Hola!
Today Ive got a Gorjuss card to share with you..I used the Gorjuss "Forget me Not" image and created my own starry night background by drawing stars with my white Prismacolor pencil and then using Stormy Sky Distress ink over the top..the pencil works as a resist..I like to use this technique for stars,or snow or you could even use it for fireworks or clouds if you wanted to=)
I couldnt find any patterened papers that I really liked with the dark blue background of the image..so I decided to just use kraft cardstock..but it would be way to boring just to slap it on the card.So I decided I would use the larger Nestabilities (labels 10?) and emboss it onto the card front..I just put it face up on top of my card so it wouldn't cut through..and put my tan embossing pad inside the card and ran it through my cuttlebug. it creates a nice frame around my image and a little something on the inside too! Then I cut a few clouds using my PTI Clouds 1&2 die to add a third dimension. And I can't forget the inside because afterall..the sentiment was the inspiration for the scene in the first place. "Perhaps they are not Stars, but rather openings in Heaven. Where the Love of our lost ones pours through, and shines down upon us to let us know they are Happy" So, that's all Ive got for ya today..I hope you enjoyed! Happy Saturday=)

Sweet as Candy
Good Afternoon,
Im a little late getting this post up today..Ive been fighting a little cold and decided to veg out this morning lol.
So, today's card is using the Stamping Bella Uptown Girl "Claudia has Candy" image/sentiment, these Uptown girls are super sassy and I must admit Ive got quite a few of them on my wish list =) One thing that I love about them is how quick they are to color..especially if you paper piece the dress like I did =)Sometimes I just dont have alot of time to color and this is the perfect solution. I used a few papers from the MME Love Me 6x6..I love that these papers dont have to be used just for V-day cards! I also used the MFT Rolled Flower Die..all the flowers were made with this die, I just rolled the smaller ones a little more and then big one,and added Cream Viva Decor Pearls to the centers. So, there ya have it..another cute simple card! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all have a very Sweet weekend!

Screamin Good Time
Hey guys,
Today Ive got another boy Birthday card to share..this one is for my nephew who just turned 3 this week. I used the My Cute Stamps "Eeek a Monster!" stamp set..this little monster is my favorite from the set, but since he is so small I thought I'd stamp several of them to make the image more substantial. I drew their little party hats with my copic multi-liner (.05) to make them little party monsters. The papers are from the MME "True Blue" 6x6..I also used the CC Designs Candle Border Die to create the candles..Love that thing!=) THe little bling-ish thingys are by Martha Stewart..Im not sure what they are exactly..they remind me of those cady dots..but they work nicely for boy cards cuz they arent sparkly..and lastly the sentiment is from Amy R's Birthday Sentiments set. I had alot of fun creating this card, and if you've never tried stacking small images on top of eachother I defintaley reccomend it..it's alot of fun and makes your card that much more interesting! So pull out your stamps and stack away!=) Well that's about it for today..I hope you enjoyed today's card and have a great day!=) Later Gators

HB2U
Good Morning Everyone!
I wanna welcome all of my new subscibers..I really appreciate all of you taking the time to come here and listen to me ramble some more =)
So Ive mentioned before that I have 13 nephews, and with my goal for this year being to make cards for everyone, you can imagine that I have a lot of boy cards to make, so I thought I would share one of them today. I colored this cute little robot from Tiddly Inks with my prisma colored pencils as usual. The papers are a mix of MME lime twist and I used my PTI seeing stars die for embellishment. I kept this card pretty simple, since its for a little boy I figure it probably wont last long anyway lol. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great day! Toodles

Birthday Calendar
Hi all,
As promised Im back today with another project using a Saturated Canary image..her name is "Elphie" she is so dang cute when I first seen her I squealed with delight =) She is probably my favorite Ragmuffin to date..I just love her quirky look and her expression can be so versatile..maybe she is playing innocent, avoiding eye contact and whistling mischeviously. Or perhaps she is just being shy..or suprised maybe? She is supposed to be a witch with her broom in hand, but I think she would make an adorable Cinderella before the ball type.
Anywho..I cut her out using my labels 4 nestablities and colored her up with my prismas as usual. The alphas are Paper SMooches Alpha-dot, the paper is fabric paper from Amy Tangerine and a basic grey bloomer was the perfect simple/flat embellishment..I didnt want to make it too fancy since it is more of a tool then a project. A goal of mine this year is to send b-day cards to all my family and friends, but I have a horrible memory..so this was the perfect solution to help me with my dilemna. For the inside I used a template I found HERE and finally bound it with my Cinch binding machine. So there ya go..I hope you enjoyed seeing my project and enjoy the rest of your weekend!=)

Priscilla Pie
Hello Everyone,
After taking a little break this last week Im back in the Valentine card-making mood. So for today's card I used another Saturated Canary digi stamp (kind of addicted to these girlies right now)..this one is called "Priscilla Pie" She is super cute as you can see,and lots of fun to color. I used the MME Love Me papers and took inspiration from the banner paper in the collection and created my own little banner using my Martha stewart confetti heart punch and just cut the pennants out freehand. I also used my PTI Doily Details die to frame the sentiment and also to match the doily paper in the background. Its hard to tell in the photo but I used my pearl pen to add pearls to her hair, and there is a little bling here and there aswell. I will be back tomorrow with another project using yet another SC stamp so I hope you will stop by again! TTYL!

Canary Love
Hi all! Im back today with a quick card I made for a challenge over on the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog. The challenge is to use Dies and Punches, and of course a SC image. I used this free cutie Canary Love for this card,Now its no secret that I adore all of Krista's images but she's also an awesome blogger,I always enjoy reading her posts so be sure to check her out!=) Anywho..back to the card..I used a nestie to cut her out, my PTI bloom builder die for the flower and the swiss cheese punch from EK Success on the sides. The papers are Fancy Pants "Its the little things" these papers have been in my stash for quite awhile now just waiting for the perfect image..and this one fit the bill. Well, my hubby has a week off so Im gonna get back to mah boys! Have a great week!

sittin pretty
Hi all,
Its been a little bit since my last post,I just found out that I will be getting yet another surgery in early March..yay me! (can you sense the sarcasm?)So I havent been in the best of moods..but Ill elaborate more on that as time gets closer.
On a happier note, today I thought Id share a card that I made a week or so ago that I hadnt shared yet. For this card I used the Miss Anya Hats Off stamp set from TGF..Ive had this set for quite awhile and only played with it a handful of times..and since Ive been saving my moolah for the new CHA releases and Scrapbook Expo next month I've been using more of my older stamp sets. Anywho, did you notice that brick wall that Miss Anya is sitting on? I created that with my copic multi-liner (.05) and a ruler..easy peasy! The rest of the card is pretty simple..a few papers from MME Sunshine and some diecut flowers using my PTI beautiful blooms II dies along with PTI buttons.
Well, it's about time for dinner lol,I guess I better go pick up the phone and order it haha.In case you didnt know..I LOATHE cooking. Baking on the other hand is not so bad..perhaps it has something to do with the fact that baking usually means sweets..and I've got a huge sweet tooth ;) Im rambling now so I will let ya go..TTYL!

The Bluebird's Proposal
Hey guys,
I hope you are all enjoying my unofficial Valentine card series so far..Ive been having lots of fun putting them together..and this card was no exception..it may be my favorite.
Please excuse the crap in the background of the photo..I didnt have the greatest lighting to take this at night and just couldnt wait to post it for all to see.Today we catch a glimpse of the hope in a brave little bluebird's heart..the hope that this Valentine's Day, he wont have to be so lonely. And this gorjuss little girl looks as if she is contemplating it rather seriously.
For todays card I wanted the image to really speak for itself,so I kept the layout really simple and the colors very muted/monochromatic. I used several papers and stamps from my stash, and some buttons from papertrey ink to add a touch of cuteness (as if the image wasnt cute enough) You can watch the process of how this card came together HERE
I still have a few more ideas up my sleeve for Valentines day so stay tuned! I will catch ya lata girlies.

Mad About You
Good Evening!
Sorry its taken me a little longer to post today, but better late than never right? So for today's card I used this adorable Mad Hatter image that you can find HERE Ive always had a thing for the mad hatter..and not just because of Johnny Depp (though he did help the situation tremendously hehe) but because he is so quirky. So this image instantly caught my eye when going through my stamps for this series. You can watch the whole process of this card HERE
I know this is short and sweet, but then again when arent my posts short right? I hope you enjoyed todays card and tomorrow I will have some Gorjuss goodness for ya! ;) later!

Loads of Love
Hi all,
Yet another Valentine card for ya today..I went through all of my stamps and chose stamps that may not be inteded for Valentines but are easily adapted to any occasion..I came across this Penny black "Christmas Express" set that I bought earlier in the year to make Christmas cards with..and well, never got around to. So I thought it was high time to ink this little cutie up. I used acetate for the windows to give it a more realistic look..I love how it appears little Mimi is behind the glass, yout could also use glossy accents for a similar effect. The papers are from Echo Park Yours Truly paper pad and some other scraps from Basic Grey and Stampin Up. I used the Martha Stewart confettie heart punch for the hearts and Studio G $1 alpha stamps for the sentiment. A little stickles and twine and I called it good. You can watch the process HERE I did this vid a bit differently because I have had some complaints that people haven't been able to watch my vids with music in them on their ipads or abroad..not sure why but YT isnt letting me allow it :( So I decided to do a voice-over instead and hopefully that fixes the problem.
Thanks for stopping by..ttyl!

I Heart You
Good Morning Everyone,
Well Im still on a Valentine kick..I was going to do a card series but for some reason when I label something I tend to think of it as a chore and dont want to do it lol..so I decided just to post valentine cards as I felt like making them..Ive got quite a few more in mind too. But for todays card I used the CC Designs "lulu big heart" digi stamp and Amy R Heart-y sayings from http://www.allthatscraps.com/ I will admit I have a hard time coloring brown hair..so I tend to shy away from it but since I chose the Bo Bunny Crazy Love papers..it just seemed inevitable, and for that reason I didnt want to film myself coloring her. But you can see the whole card process by clicking on the picture.
Thanks for stopping by and I will see ya soon!=)

Anywho..the paper is from the Echo Park Little Girl collection and I also used some PTI aqua mist cardstock and smokey shadow for the base. The sentiment is from the new Amy R Heart-y sayings set. You can see the process here: http://youtu.be/eT94Utrx-cl

Cupig
Hi all!
Today I have my very first Valentine card for 2012 to share with you. I used this adorable "Cupig" digi stamp from http://www.allthatscraps.com/ and papers from Echo Park "Yours Truly" The sketch I found online..Ive been trying to step outside my comfort zone when it comes to sketches..just to change it up a bit=) I used several spellbinder circle dies for the circles and a few cupid punches from a punch I found at walmart for .97! I used Diamond stickles on the wings and arrow and also added some glossy accents to his little nose to make it appear a little wet..which of course don't show up in the photo =( You can watch the whole process here: http://youtu.be/f0QFOx-n2qE
Hope you enjoyed and I will see you soon!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year to you all! I know Im a couple days late but Ive been super busy this last week. I made this card to start off my new years resolution..which is to make all of my family Birthday cards and actually get them sent out! lol..Im really bad about that. I dont usually make resolutions, simply because of my lack of follow-through but this one is more likely to happen so I thought..why not. Ive used another one of my new Gorjuss girls..this one is called "Waiting" She is super sweet and is great for pretty much any type of card..this time I made her a Birthday girl for my MIL ..now normally I reach for bright and cheery colors for birthdays but this time I was really feeling the fall colors..so I used the Basic Grey Pyrus and Max & Whiskers 6x6 papers.I also busted out my new PTI Beautiful Blooms II dies for the flowers. The sentiment is a mix between Amy R Birthday Sentiments (Happy Birthday) and Lawn Fawn Quinns ABCs. Thanks for stoppin by and I will talk at ya soon!=) Later Gators!
